ABOUT
Lublin is one of the most distinctive historic cities in Poland, with over 700 years of history and a unique multicultural character. Located in the eastern part of the country, it offers a rare continuity of architecture that remained largely intact during World War II.
The city combines historical depth with a compact urban layout, making it highly efficient for film production. Its atmosphere is shaped by a mix of influences, creating a visually rich and authentic environment.

LOCATIONS
Lublin offers a wide range of architectural styles within a small area, from medieval structures and Gothic elements to Renaissance, Baroque, and modernist buildings. The Old Town, castle, and Śródmieście create a dense historical setting, while districts like LSM introduce modernist urban landscapes. The region also includes industrial sites such as former factories and mills, as well as natural locations like lakes, forests, and open landscapes. Additional locations include the open-air museum of the Lublin countryside and the Majdanek memorial site, offering powerful and historically significant settings.

Lublin Film Fund supports productions through financial incentives and comprehensive production assistance. The fund offers support for various stages of production, alongside help with location scouting, permits, and coordination with local authorities. The city facilitates filming logistics, including street closures and access to key locations such as the Old Town. Lublin also offers strong transport accessibility, with direct road and rail connections to Warsaw and an international airport nearby. The combination of authentic locations, efficient logistics, and institutional support makes Lublin a practical and film-friendly destination.
