ABOUT
Gdańsk and the wider Pomeranian region offer one of the most visually diverse landscapes in Poland, combining coastal scenery with strong historical identity. The region stands out for its access to the Baltic Sea, open horizons, and a unique mix of natural and urban environments within short distances.
From raw northern coastlines to refined European architecture, it provides a flexible backdrop for a wide range of stories. A distinctive local element is amber, present both in the landscape and in the cultural identity of the region.
02
LOCATIONS
The region offers direct access to wide sandy beaches, cliffs, forests, lakes, and the protected areas of the Tricity Landscape Park. Gdańsk combines a historic city centre with European-style architecture and modern urban development, allowing for multiple time periods and settings to be recreated. The shipyard and port areas, with their iconic cranes and industrial structures, provide raw, authentic spaces with strong visual character and historical depth. A high concentration of diverse locations within close proximity makes the region especially efficient for production.
03
Production Support

The region provides access to experienced local crews and solid production infrastructure. Recent productions filmed in Gdańsk include Minghun (dir. Jan P. Matuszyński), Kolory zła: Czerwień (dir. Adrian Panek), and Dziadku, wiejemy! (dir. Olga Chajdas), as well as Brat and Oskar, Patka i złoto Bałtyku.
